Luckily, the things we want to go back to are within reach by a click of a mouse and a movie-night spree of our favorite classic movies. The idea of freeing the evening of curricular activities and replacing it with popcorn and tissue was triggered when we were browsing our Jewelry Stockpile. 1. Gone With the Wind (1939) – Nap Time Scene
Scarlett O’Hara redefined 19th century sleep wear when she wore a dainty carnation BBQ necklace while being obliged to take a nap. Now, we may or may not have tried sleeping with our necklace on because of this one scene.

2. Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)- Opening Scene
Who could ever forget this iconic opening scene where Holly nibbles on a Danish while staring at an empty 5th Ave. Jewelry store. Her Bib Necklace is a scene-stealer and will be forever be tattooed in our memory.

3. Casablanca (1942) – Play It Again Sam Scene
We remember Ilsa Lund’s brooch on this scene, but when she tilted her beautifully back-swept wavy doo of a head, our eyes were fixated on her glittering earring jewelry.

4. Roman Holiday (1953) – Cherished Memory Scene
The second Audrey Hepburn film on this list because Audrey Hepburn. She was Princess Ann in this film and her jewelry is all about being regal.
A bit of a trivia: In 1944 choker necklaces were termed as “Dog Collars.”

5. Casino (1995) – For Ginger, Love Costs Money Scene
Suddenly, Gold and Dangling Earrings started showing up on the A/W 2015 Runway, this took us back to the old sexy zing of the past fashion era – back when clothes make the mob and Ginger took note. By the way, we also took note.
