Celebrate Native American silversmithing with this substantial Old Pawn Navajo concho belt, handcrafted by silversmith Alex Gelvin. Hand-cut from heavy-gauge sterling silver, the belt features 11 individually leather-backed conchos (5 ovals and 6 butterflies/bows) plus a matching rectangular buckle. Every piece displays hand-tooled repoussé work and intricate hand-stamped detailing extending out to the scalloped edges. Mounted on a thick, durable 1-1/16" black leather belt weighing over 607 grams total, this heirloom-quality piece is a timeless statement accessory.

The silver has been gently polished with a silver cloth, leaving a brilliant shine on the high points while preserving deep natural oxidation in the stamped recesses for optimal contrast. All copper slides and leather backings are intact, and the thick leather strap is strong. Note: The leather belt strap has not been punched with sizing holes yet, allowing the buyer to custom-fit it to their exact size.
