Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Dry Creek Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace
We are offering this Navajo Native American Indian old pawn sterling silver and turquoise squash blossom necklace. This museum quality piece features the highly regarded Dry Creek Turquoise, also known as "Sacred Buffalo" to the native Americans. Each of the 19 turquoise cabochons were hand selected and all are well matched in size and color. They are set beautifully bezel set in sterling silver. The Navajo squash blossom is in good condition. The naja measures 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" and the 14 blossoms are 1-5/8". The necklace measures 31" long overall. Resting throughout the necklace are hand wrought round silver bench beads with a traditional Figure 8 & Hook closure.
