Vintage Old Pawn Navajo Turquoise, Coral, & Spiny Oyster Jacla Dangle Earrings

We are offering these gorgeous Vintage Old Pawn Navajo Turquoise & Coral Jacla Dangle Earrings. Each earring is made with forty-six (46) cut and polished blue-green turquoise cylinder beads, six (6) red branch coral cylinder beads, and three (3) hand carved raindrop shaped Spiny Oyster beads used as the "corn" of the jacla all strung on nylon bead wire. The artist brings the hoop together with a small sterling silver cone with hand rolled silver beads at bottom of cones and silver beads with sterling bales at top of cones. They were finished by attaching sterling silver posts to each jacla.

Jacla is the Navajo word for "ear string". They original were tied to the ends of a necklace and either removed and worn as earrings or they kept them attached to the necklace and wore as a pendant type for the necklace.
