Description

Vintage 1960s Navajo Royston Turquoise & Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace

An heirloom-grade masterpiece of mid-century Southwestern jewelry, this monumental 186.8-gram Navajo squash blossom necklace features 20 natural Royston turquoise cabochons. The cabochons—ranging from 1/2" to 1" in size—display rich sky-blue and teal tones framed by hand-cut scalloped bezels and silver leaf appliques. Ten traditional hand-wrought squash blossoms flank a center Naja pendant measuring 3" x 3.5", set with seven focal turquoise cabochons. Strung on double rows of hand-bench-made sterling silver beads and finished with a classic hook-and-eye closure, this piece radiates strength and timeless artistry.
